For many years Pyroplex had been creating an assortment of technical documents in a variety of different formats in Microsoft Word. There were inconsistencies in the format, headings and structure of each of these documents. There were informative and useful but lacked credibility with the target user.

This Pyroplex project was undertaken by Peter Lowe when working for Reddiplex Group in 2008. The first part of the project was to bring these documents into a set format and style and separate them by type; product, technical and material safety. The content was then standardised and re-written where necessary. The text was then styled and formatted into Construction (red) and Door Products (blue).

The datasheets were then collated into a bespoke folder with a printed cover and spine. Tabbed dividers, made from blue or red polypropylene, separated the different sections. This completed document became a reliable source of reference for sales people, support staff as well as the architects and specifiers it was aimed at.

All the Pyroplex documents were made available on a revamped website in PDF format for download by customers. The website followed on from the visual style of the datasheets.

There are designs in place for two different brochures for Construction and Door Products, as well as Email marketing templates. These have been designed with architects, specifiers and civil engineers in mind.
